Supporting The Sturry Link Road Project With High Volume Aggregate Supply

Omni Group was awarded this significant contract to support the delivery of the Sturry Link Road project, a key investment in the region’s transport infrastructure. The scale of the works demands more than just material supply. It requires careful planning, dependable logistics, and the ability to keep volume moving efficiently every day.

As part of our role on the project, we are collecting and delivering in excess of 100,000 tonnes of Primary Type 1 Granite. With a structured delivery programme of around 1,600 tonnes per day, the focus is on consistency, reliability, and making sure the right materials reach site in line with programme demands.

For major infrastructure projects, success depends on strong coordination as much as material availability. With our fleet operating daily and close logistics management across sites, this project highlights the importance of dependable haulage, efficient planning, and a team that can deliver at scale without compromise.

Omni Group was selected for this project based on our proven ability to support high volume operations, backed by one of the largest tipper fleets in the region. Our ability to combine reliable material supply with practical, well managed logistics helps ensure we can meet the demands of large, time critical programmes like this one.

This contract is a strong example of the scale, reliability, and operational support Omni Group brings to major infrastructure projects. From large-volume aggregate supply to daily haulage coordination, we are proud to be playing our part in delivering an important scheme for Kent and supporting the progress of the Sturry Link Road project.
